1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of SimbaPDF websites, applications, and PDF tools (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using SimbaPDF, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. The Services

SimbaPDF provides PDF creation, editing, and conversion tools. Many tools run directly in your browser. Some features may require server-side processing; where upload is required, SimbaPDF should clearly indicate this before you proceed.

3. Accounts

Some features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and promptly update account details when needed. You are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services. This includes, without limitation:

• using the Services for unlawful purposes or to violate others’ rights (including copyright)
• attempting to access non-public areas, bypass security, or probe for vulnerabilities
• introducing malware, viruses, or harmful code
• abusing the Services via excessive automation, scraping, spam, or denial-of-service activity
• reverse-engineering or interfering with the Services except where permitted by law

5. Your content & documents

You remain responsible for the files and content you process using SimbaPDF and for ensuring you have the right to use them. Unless a feature clearly states otherwise, SimbaPDF does not store or read your document content for tools that run locally in your browser.

6. Subscriptions & payments

6.1 Paid plans

SimbaPDF may offer paid plans (“Pro”) that unlock additional features such as higher limits or ad removal. Pricing and plan details are shown at checkout.

6.2 Billing and renewals

If a plan is recurring, it renews automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date. Access typically continues until the end of the current billing period after cancellation, unless stated otherwise at checkout.

6.3 Payment processing

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. SimbaPDF does not store full card details. We may store limited billing and transaction references for receipts, accounting, and support.

7. Intellectual property

SimbaPDF, including the website, tools, branding, and underlying software, is owned by SimbaPDF and/or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the Services without our written permission, except as allowed by law.

8. Third-party services

SimbaPDF may rely on third-party services (for example, authentication, hosting, payments, analytics, or advertising). Third parties may have their own terms and policies. SimbaPDF is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

9. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your requirements. You should keep backups of important documents.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SimbaPDF will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business arising from your use of the Services.

11. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect SimbaPDF, our users, or the public.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post updates on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
